I need to admit that what I noticed of Manny Pacquiao against Joshua Clottey did not give me a feeling that Pacquiao could beat as well as compete with the likes of Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. Boxing is a science, a sport of the mind should you will. The fighters are types which are authorities at ring method and who know the best way to capitalize on their opponents mistakes. I see Mosley and Mayweather being the ultimate great at coming up having a technique to beat their opponents and then using it for the letter. Sadly, I did not see that from Pacquiao in his fight with Clottey.
If there was a strategy behind him throwing 1200 punches – quite a few of them seemingly aimed at Clottey’s gloves for some cause.
